1 Darryl Salters appeals a judgment convicting him of sexual assault as a persistent repeater. He also appeals an order denying his post-conviction motion in which he alleged ineffective assistance of trial counsel based on counsels failure to call seven witnesses. He argues: (1) he did not receive proper notice of the prior convictions that support the repeater enhancer; (2) his right to a jury trial was violated because the existence of the prior convictions was not determined by the jury; and (3) he was denied effective assistance of counsel. We reject these arguments and affirm the judgment and order.
